Privacy Policy — Around the World Word Search
Last updated: September 11, 2026
The Little C & Me Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, operates the mobile application Around the World Word Search (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Purchase information: If you subscribe or make an in-app purchase, our payment processor (RevenueCat, in coordination with Apple App Store / Google Play) processes your payment. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device and usage data: general device information (device type, operating system version), app usage data (e.g., puzzles started/completed), and crash/diagnostic data, collected to keep the App running reliably.
- Locally stored progress: puzzle progress, found words, and completion times are stored on your device (via local device storage) so your progress is saved between sessions.
- Advertising identifiers: if you use the free, ad-supported version of the App, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) and its network of third-party advertisers may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID) and usage data to serve and measure ads.
Information From Third Parties
- Google AdMob: displays ads within the free tier of the App. AdMob may collect data as described in Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- RevenueCat: manages subscription status and purchase validation. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information collected to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the App
- Save and restore your puzzle progress
- Process and manage subscriptions and purchases
- Display advertisements (free tier only) and measure their performance
- Diagnose technical issues and improve App performance
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Advertising
If you use the free, ad-supported version of the App, you will see ads served through Google AdMob. These ads may be personalized based on your activity across apps and websites, or non-personalized, depending on your settings and region.
Your choices:
- iOS: You will be asked for permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before any tracking-based ad personalization occurs. You can change this anytime in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Android: You can opt out of personalized ads via Settings > Google > Ads on your device, or reset/delete your advertising ID.
- Ad-free option: Subscribing to the paid tier removes all advertisements from the App.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with:
- Google AdMob — to serve and measure advertisements (free tier only)
- RevenueCat — to process and validate subscriptions and purchases
- Apple App Store / Google Play — as required to process payments and deliver App updates
- Law enforcement or regulators, if required by law
5. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the App’s functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Locally stored puzzle progress remains on your device until you delete the App or clear its data.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below so we can remove it.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information (including under Canada’s PIPEDA, the EU’s GDPR, or California’s CCPA/CPRA). To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

This draft covers standard practices for your app’s data flows (local storage, RevenueCat, AdMob) but has not been reviewed by a lawyer — for a business this small, that’s usually fine to launch with, but worth having reviewed at some point as the app grows.
